This is a local study copy of the interactive reading app created by Meng To / StoryComet. The original stories, artwork, recordings, and browser modules are retained from the public website.
Read Fern and the Firefly Forest, Otto and the Shy Moon, Nia and the Runaway Kite, and Fin and the Glowing Sea in English, French, Spanish, Japanese, or Chinese. The remaining covers preview books available on the original website.
Fern is a new ten-page forest adventure, using local woodland artwork and character models, original story text and interactions, and AI narration generated locally with Kokoro for English and Qwen3-TTS for Mandarin. The other editions use installed macOS voices.
Profiles, settings, progress, quizzes, and souvenirs save in this browser. They do not sync to other devices. Clearing browser data removes them. This copy has no sign-in, payments, or analytics.
All reading assets are served locally. The interactive scenes need WebGL and JavaScript. Sound starts after you interact with the page.
